Paul Ongioni is a seasoned professional with an extensive background in software and healthcare industries, currently serving the Chicago community from the Magnificent Mile. With a career marked by leadership roles at several Chicago area tech startups and Epic Systems Corporation, Paul has been pivotal in driving customer success, professional services, and customer-focused initiatives. His expertise in business operations, strategy development, and creating customer-centric environments has been instrumental in navigating competitive markets and achieving organizational growth and profitability.

During his time as a Technical Implementation Executive, at Epic Systems Corporation, Paul led large scale infrastructure teams and supervised technical staff, significantly enhancing efficiency and client experiences. His collaborative efforts with Epic organizations post-live and his proficiency in technologies such as IT topology, hardware infrastructure and security, medical device management, and remote monitoring have underscored his commitment to customer support and software enhancement.

Paul holds a Juris Doctor degree from George Washington University Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan. His diverse skill set is further complemented by certifications in HIPAA, Salesforce, HubSpot, Jira, and various Epic certifications.

An entrepreneur at heart, Paul started his own e-commerce business at 16 and has been passionate about leveraging technology to empower small businesses. As the owner of NerdsToGo, he specializes in making technology accessible and manageable for small to medium-sized healthcare providers, understanding the intricacies of HIPAA and specialized systems.

Paul’s commitment to the community extends beyond his professional endeavors. He is actively involved with Startout.org and the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and the local foodie scene, engaging in community work, and spending time with his three cats. A minority business owner (Black, LGBTQ, Veteran), Paul’s expertise and dedication to helping others grasp technology’s power, including AI, bring value to the business and residential communities he serves.
