Hello! My name is Michael Varnadore, and I’m the proud owner of the Tampa NerdsToGo franchise. Located in the beautiful Sunshine State, Tampa enjoys hot summers and mild winters. It is home to Busch Gardens, the historic Ybor City, and is within driving distance of one of the best white-sand beaches in America –?Clearwater Beach. NerdsToGo Tampa is excited to provide local residents with our high-quality technology services.
I am a U.S. Air Force Veteran with over 35 years of experience supporting and managing Information Technology –?including running programs that deliver IT services to customers. My technical experience ranges from desktop support, LAN/WAN engineering, systems administration, web developments, and systems security engineering. I am also specialized in IT Managed Services and hold an expert-level ITIL V3 certification.
I have been in the corporate world for the last 19 years, holding various roles including Data Center Manager, Regional Support Manager, Program Manager, IT Operations Director, Director of Personal Computing, and Director of Cloud Services. My experience has given me the skills I need to lead my team of Nerds and provide the best possible customer service.
In my free time, I’m a part-time college professor and a high school football and basketball referee. I also enjoy SCUBA diving –?I’m Advanced Open Water certified.
